All Kent Shutters
All Kent Shutters is a family-run business that has supplied and fitted custom made shutters and blinds, including patio awnings, since 1994. Whilst they had a great reputation in the Sidcup and wider Kent areas, they were lacking a strong online presence - essential for today's digital world and the expectations of modern customers.
The Brief
We met with the team from All Kent Shutters and looked at their existing website – which hadn’t been updated for around five years and was lacking in several areas. We listened to the team’s aspirations to have a new website that represented the modern company they are today, which gave potential customers the right impression from the moment they clicked onto the site.
The website needed to display the wide range of blinds, shutters and awnings available and provide concise information about each product – the benefits and the ability to have them custom made for individual requirements.
In addition, we recommended the creation of area based webpages, to help target specific audiences in and around the business location. This would be essential tool to enhance search engine optimization (SEO) for the website.
The Solution
We got straight to work by designing a modern and simple design for the new website – sourcing bright, clean images for the various products All Kent Shutters provide. This immediately brought the business up-to-date and gave a fresh, contemporary feel to the site. We incorporated simple and concise descriptions for each product, describing the benefits and advantages for each. Alongside this, we provided links to PDF brochures so more information could be found if required. In addition, we created several location pages – including Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Dartford for example – so people searching in those geographical areas had more chance of finding All Kent Shutters. The results speak for themselves and the team at All Kent Shutters are thrilled with their new website.
